The next morning we headed to Chiloé National Park, and spent the night in Cucao in the newly
built Palafito Hostel. Even more stunning than its Castro cousin, this hostel
was right on the edge of a river (though not an original "Palafito") and a short walk to the national park. We took
a long hike in the rain and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Due to the heavy
rain, we were not able to take any good photographs but the images will forever
remain in our memory.
